The Road Ends Here. The Final Awaits.

After weeks of thrilling football and unforgettable moments, the Jesus Champions League 2026 (JCL26) has reached its grand finale.

Eight churches began the journey with one goal—to lift the JCL trophy. Every match tested their character, teamwork, and determination. Now, after navigating one of the tournament's most competitive formats, only Jesus House FC and Calvary Chapel remain.

The stage is set for a championship showdown worthy of the journey both teams have taken.

A League Where Every Point Counted

JCL26 opened with an eight-team league phase, where every club had the opportunity to prove themselves over four matches.

Unlike a straight knockout competition, consistency was rewarded, and every goal had the potential to shape the standings.

When the league phase concluded, Calvary Chapel finished at the summit with 10 points, recording an impressive defensive campaign by conceding just two goals while scoring eight.

Just behind league leaders Calvary Chapel were NCCC FC with 9 points, both earning direct qualification to the knockout stage.

The remaining qualification spots went to:

  • JHFC

  • Christ Villa FC

  • Higher Ground Assembly

  • Victory Temple Bowie

Unfortunately, Jesus House Elkridge and New Wine Assembly finished in the bottom two positions and bowed out of the competition after the league phase.

The Play-In Delivered Fireworks

With the top two teams advancing directly to the Semi-Finals, the remaining four qualified teams battled for the final two places in the knockout stage.

Jesus House FC announced themselves as genuine title contenders with a breathtaking 6–2 victory over Victory Temple Bowie, producing one of the most exciting attacking performances of the tournament.

Higher Ground Assembly also secured their place in the last four with a composed 2–0 victory over Christ Villa FC, completing the Play-In lineup.

Semi-Finals Decided by Fine Margins

The Semi-Finals showcased exactly why these four teams had earned their places.

Calvary Chapel continued their outstanding campaign with a disciplined 1–0 victory over Higher Ground Assembly, once again demonstrating why they had been one of the tournament's most consistent teams.

On the other side of the bracket, Jesus House FC faced league runners-up NCCC FC in a tightly contested battle. With little separating the two sides, Jesus House FC found the breakthrough and secured a 1–0 victory, punching their ticket to the JCL26 Final.

A Final Between Two Deserving Teams

Both finalists have taken different paths to reach this moment.

Calvary Chapel have been the model of consistency throughout the tournament, finishing top of the league table and conceding the fewest goals in the competition.

Jesus House FC, meanwhile, have built momentum at exactly the right time. After narrowly missing automatic qualification to the Semi-Finals, they produced a dominant Play-In performance before eliminating one of the tournament favorites to earn their place in the championship match.

Now, everything comes down to one final game.

Will Calvary Chapel complete a remarkable campaign from league leaders to champions?

Or will Jesus House FC continue their incredible knockout run and lift the JCL26 trophy?
